It's only when Bethany and her unborn babe are threatened by the heel who betrayed them that Chan is moved to marry the girl, however. It's another case, as Chan's father Hub would say, of getting the cart before the horse. In Chan's case, marriage comes first and love unexpectedly comes later. Then again, what else would you expect when the aunties at Chatam House are involved?
